The TO Live Orchestra performs West Side Story’s landmark score live in sync to picture.

With the original film projected on the big screen in high definition, Leonard Bernstein’s iconic music will be performed by a full symphony orchestra under the baton of conductor Evan Mitchell, with the film's original vocals and dialogue.

A timeless story of forbidden love, this Oscar-winning classic is a moving portrait of connection in a dangerous, divided world. Winner of 10 Academy Awards®, including Best Picture, West Side Story is considered one of the greatest achievements in the history of movie musicals.

Directed by Robert Wise and Jerome Robbins, this modern-day retelling of Romeo and Juliet features Robbins’ electrifying choreography, with lyrics by renowned musical theatre legend Stephen Sondheim, a screenplay by Ernest Lehman based on the stage play produced by Robert E. Griffith and Harold S. Prince adapted from Arthur Laurents’ book.
