Experience the magic of cinema like never before. Our Film Concert Series combines the power of a live symphony orchestra with the immersive storytelling of film, bringing the music to life in perfect synchronization with the action on screen.

 

Be swept away by the emotion and energy of some of the greatest films ever made, as you witness the marriage of sound and image in a way that can only be described as breathtaking.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

STEP 1

Engineers gain access to the original film mix and isolate the music from the dialogue and sound effects.

STEP 2

An official score is prepared for the conductor and parts for each member of the orchestra.

STEP 3

The conductor has their own view of the film on a personal screen running in tandem with the film on the big screen.

On it, special markings let them know if they need to slow down or speed up to stay in sync with the film.

STEP 4

The orchestra rehearses with the film. Then, with a full audience, they play the entire score, start to finish, in sync to picture! The experience is the same great film you remember... but better!
