How does it work?
STEP 1
Engineers gain access to the original film mix and isolate the music from the dialogue and sound effects.
STEP 2
An official score is prepared for the conductor and parts for each member of the orchestra.
STEP 3
A version of the film with special markings is prepared for the conductor to view on a small screen. This helps the conductor perfectly time the music cues.
STEP 4
The orchestra rehearses with the film. Then, with a full audience, they play the entire score, start to finish, in sync to picture! The experience is the same great film you remember... but better!
